DRUMCEPTION IS BACK.

That’s right, after last year’s highly successful Guitarception contest, which featured TesseracT drummer Jay Postones, we’ve partnered up with the folks over at Gear Gods yet again for a new iteration of the Drumception series…which is going to be bigger and more epic than ever!

On the heels of the release of our Orchestral Percussion SDX earlier this year, we have come up with an absolute BANGIN’ drum track composed 100% using Superior Drummer 3, some brand new Metal Month releases, an all-star gathering of drummers featured in their ranks of our drum MIDI packs as well as – of course – some epic elements from the Orchestral Percussion SDX. We then sent this drum track to four of the most talented guitarists in modern metal to do their thing all over, and their finished tracks will be shared with the world throughout November!

WHAT WOULD YOUR RENDITION SOUND LIKE?

As with last year, this Drumception challenge is open to the public and YOU can win some incredible prizes (head over to Gear Gods for more info on this!). The rules to enter are simple:
Download the EPIC drum track RIGHT HERE, record your own song over it, upload it to the streaming platform of your choice (Soundcloud, YouTube, etc. — do not submit download links!) and submit it using the entry form available on the Gear Gods page. All instruments are fair game — guitars, bass, keys, saxophone, cowbell — although no vocals are allowed. The deadline to enter is 11:59pm EST on Saturday, November 30th.

Remember: There are NO rules as far as creativity goes. The drum track has some twists and turns and you can interpret it in many ways.
