Yeah i was just saying theres probably a small metal kit or something in the basic EZDrummer.?

Also Toontrack solo.. Is that a whole other app?.. Or it comes with..

Sorry its just a tad confusing lol.

So to get this cleared up, to record i need Superior.. Correct?

    Hey thanks very much.

I must ask though.. Is there a way where i didn’t want the ability to adjust all of those technical audio aspects, and just be able to record straight with the drum kit from hell? (Logic or GB)

Its just that Superior seems a bit pricy for me compared to the base software package.

Also, i can probably get similar sounds without buying the expansion.. Correct?

    Hi,

and thank you for your interest in Toontrack products.

If you decide for EZdrummer and the dfh EZX expansion, you need to run Toontrack solo as your host for supported and optimal response from your E-drums.

If you want to be able to adjust response, velocity curves, etc. and get a truly great E-drum experience and also be able to record your performance in Logic (or GB), you should consider Superior 2.
This will also give you access to a wider palette of sounds, being able to pitch sounds, stack sounds, adjust individual bleeds and much more.

You should be fine with your iMac, given that it is fairly new and you have at least 2 GB RAM, and your other equipment.

Please feel free to ask, should you have any further questions.

    Best Regards,
    John
