    I have that problem too.

    I don’t have any of the MIDI mac interface with the triangles set up. I was told by Sweetwater that I didn’t need to use this.
    I used it when I wasn’t using EZDrummer. Should I still be using it?

Essentially sounds is produced by triggering EZDrummer 2 with you TD3. So once you have your TD3 connected to your host installed any drivers that are required and configured it, start EZDrummer 2 up going into settings > audio/MIDI setup and select MIDI Device, your TD3 should show up in the list and select and apply.

    That should allow you to trigger EZD2 directly from your TD3. Hope this helps.  

    Yes, I have a UM-One midi cable connecting the TD-3 and the Mac Mini.

    Can anyone explain..

    Can someone explain how the sound is produced and transferred so I can understand what the technical
    functions behind the scenes are and what different software and hardware is used and for in the process?
