Do you have any words of wisdom or best practices for that?

    ‘Fraid not Bill.
I’ve hardly used this EZX myself yet – – been busy programming the midi and making videos etc….
Also, I’m not the sound recording expert.
    I’ll ask Peter for you.

I think the differences between EZ and SD have more to do with bleeds, flexibility etc….
Fact is, EZdrummer packs have ended up on records.

when they mean that 16 bit is not good enough for pro use?

A lot of ‘pros’ are using EZdrummer.

Just on the other side, people here complain frequently about the long list of ‘drums’ in the drop down menu of EZX:Electronic.
If you had all the snares from SDX’s in a drop down menu on your construct page in Superior you’d get similar complaints.

Personal taste I would think. A lot of users seem to like it.
In any case, it has little to do with the brand or model of drums used….. which was my point (made several months ago now).

The answer is you buy things when you need them or want to use them.
For example, I’ve been researching a particular video editing software for several months. On the 20th December the company announced a 50% one day sale.
I didn’t click on their page that day and missed the offer.
Now I could wait for another offer to come along (next Christmas?), but as it happens I would like to use the product this week, so I just bought it at full price.
This is what most people do, they buy things at full price if they need them for some reason. Don’t need them, don’t buy them.

Are there any stores nearby where you can demo it?

I presume you mean 3/4? Three beats per bar. Most DAW’s default to 4/4, four (quarter) beats in a bar.

Click the Track Info button to open the Track Info window. From the pop-up menu at the top of the window, choose Master Track .
From the pop-up menu, choose a new time signature.

My point was all sales, discount deals and extra offers have to start on a specific date.
Anyone who happens to buy something the day previous to an announcement always loses out.

If Toon offered the upgrade deal in January, would people who bought it in December be angry?

    Not bad ideas.

Just to say though you can do all the above with any DAW.
