i’m using 16 bit ASIO with the Tascam us-122, with a latency of 2048 (because i try not to fool myself into thinking that i can actually play my keyboard). when i say that when i open up a project that EZplayer Pro is being used, it’s because it is, within the confines of Toontrack Solo and in a project that uses EZdrummer and EZplayer Pro (which is how this software was all presented to me on the video via your website): i open up Toontrack Solo, that loads EZdrummer which has a heading for EZplayer
any word on what’s going on with this issue yet? inquiring minds want to know!
i have taken the steps posted to make sure that my crash bug is for real in Toontrack solo, when utilized with the most up-to-date versions of EZdrummer and EZplayer Pro. when i begin a new project, everything works fine. but when i save that project (.tts file) close the software, re-open the software and open up the saved project, so far so good. then, i play the saved .tts file and that is where the problem begins. once the music reaches the 3rd measure, the hi-hat track gets stuck and a horrible noise repeats (the sound of a hi-hat run through a turbine engine) and the computer crashes. i have XP Pro sp3, Pentium 4 2.5Ghz, 2gig RAM (a very solid, well-maintained system). all midi files used in my experimentation are EZdrummer patterns.
i have just begun to experience serious system crashes using Toontrack solo with EZdrummer and EZplayer Pro. with the previous version of Toontrack solo, i could not re-open a saved .tts file. now, with the new version, i can re-open a saved .tts file, but during playback i get big big crash. hopefully one of these days i will be able to get Toontrack software to work seamlessly with other major companies’ software on my notoriously stable XP sp3 system, because i really like the concepts of what they are trying to do.
