I have the Evil Drums SDX and would like this resolved the way that you said. Please, put some proper graphics on this puppy.

Customer Service,I just purchased Superior Drummer 3. As a part of the updates performed by the Product Manager, it downloaded some updates to my existing SDXs. All of them downloaded and installed correctly, except for the Custom & Vintage SDX 1.5.0 package. It has it downloaded, but when I “install updates…”, it tells me that first told me that it could not unzip the file. I manually unzipped it and tried to run the installer, but it simply never launches.
I tried deleting and redownloading, but am having the same results.
Please advise.
Thank you,
Jim Coates
I’m having the same issue. Metal Foundry and C&V are giving me this problem.

Hi,if memory serves me right, you can use the ‘Kick In’, ‘SD Top’/’SD Bottom’, ‘OH Coles’ and ‘AMB Coles’ faders to get sound of the 4 Mic setup. You need to enable the bleeds for the Kick and Snare but lower them, depending on the rest of your treatment. You will need to mix between the Snare Top and Snare Bottom to get the balance. The EZX Presets have some EQ, compression and Reverb in them as well.

John
Thank you for your clear, concise answer and for taking the time to respond to my post. I’ll do some tweaking based on your information.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SmKfpClDkQ I prefer this stuff to the B3 stuff. I dunno why.
yeah. my demo is a pretty big file. Actually, there are 12 different audio files.
oh well…
yeah, this EZX is the bomb! If you’re wondering what it sounds like, I made a little “drums only” demo. It’s linked in the User Demos section.
Please, release Indie Folk as an SDX as soon as possible. I will be most appreciative.
xiweinx, I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to indicate that this was a death metal track and saying which Toontrack products you used for drums. Usually, people just post some really vague link and never mention those details. So, thanks!
