Hi, The upgrade is the same product as a regular version. It’s just a lower price for users who already own EZdrummer 1 or 2. So in your case, as an EZdrummer 1 user, you can select the Upgrade price. Neither version includes the libraries from 1 or 2 but if you already own 1 or 2 that library will be available through EZdrummer 3 ans an EZX.

Hi, If you own EZdrummer 1 and purchase the EZdrummer 3 upgrade you will get the EZD1 core library as an EZX to use in EZD3.

If you own EZdrummer 2 and purchase the EZdrummer 3 upgrade you will get the EZD2 core library as an EZX to use in EZD3.

You cannot use instruments from the EZdrummer 3 core library in EZdrummer 2. But he can use the EZD2 Metal preset inside EZD3 and grab a drum or cymbal from the EZD3 library

Hi, Thanks for your questions.

When you say the Metal Kit, are you referring to one of the kits in the EZdrummer 2 core library or a metal expansion pack (EZX)?

The two sound libraries from The EZD2 core library will be available as expansion packs to be used in EZdrummer 3

All EZXs will also work in EZdrummer 3.

 

And just like you can replace instruments in EZdrummer 2 and choose between elements from different EZXs, you can replace a kick or snare in an EZdrummer 3 kit with one from an EZX or the EZdrummer 2 core library

 

If you purchase EZdrummer 2 now, you will get a free Upgrade to EZdrummer 3 once it’s released. EZdrummer 3 will not overwrite EZdrummer 2.

Hi, yes. The EZdrummer 2 Songwriters Edition will grant you the EZdrummer 3 Upgrade.
The MIDI packs included in the bundle will work with EZdrummer 3 and any other EZX/SDX.

The sound libraries in EZdrummer 2 will also be available through EZdrummer 3.
