All it says is remove it from programs and features which doesnt fully remove it. Theres an uninstall button in the toontrack product manager thats inactive
so…………. what eles can I do to uninstall this toontrack product so I can use EZ Drummer 1 again?
Unfortunately thats the only midi trigger device I have. As a last resort Im going to hook up a midi cord to straight to the pro tools interface and check it that way.
Im afraid its either a bad usb port or the device isnt working properly. uugggh! Ive got a midi cable ordered via ebay, (Id almost rather hook up with midi cables
rather than internally route usb in pro tools, avoid that all together. Pc is always harder to set up than Mac, Simpler the better in my book) Thanks for the response John
Then it must be in my pro tools settings, korg padkontrol is listed, its probably some small setting in peripherals.
Ive got it hooked up usb. #frustrating……….
Im setting up a korg padkontrol and I have it plugged usb. Its offering options in peripherals for midi in, padkontrol midi in,1 port A and 1 port B as well as my DAW midi in. And for output my DAW midi out padkontrol 1 ctrl and padkontrol 1 midi out, Im new to midi triggers ans apparently dont know which to choose to make it work cause I cant get any sounds. Any tips would be great. thanks!!
What if your midi controller is not listed, Im not worried about mapping, I can handle that. In my case I have a Korg padKontrol.
Do I choose Generic since mines not listed? Thanks!
How about totally bypassing the ezdrummers library and recording your own midi patterns. Besides being stuck with the proverbial 4/4 which becomes mundane, the drum patterns arent always there when searching for them. Im sure theres a way to do this and I will explore this option until its obtained. Its either this or go with superior drummer.
