Thanks man, I feel quite humbled by your words – means a lot!
Unfortunately I can only make it available over Bandcamp for now, but on the bright side: it is downloadable for free!
To state the obvious this is not my style (which you’ll understand if you check out my tracks on this forum), but I sure can appreciate the musicianship that went into this! Great guitar playing and nice production overall!
Yeah, it really takes you back to the 90-ies! Brings back memories, not all of which are necessarily very pleasant to revisit – but that has nothing to do with your music and is entirely off topic.
Its a beautiful song – and a solid production that fits with the style!
Hi!
Cool! Great production/mix!
The introduction has a nice doomy feel to it. The playing is flawless, beautiful leads. And the riffs, man, especially those that start at 3:53 and 5:46 respectively, really got my head nodding – very groovy!
@Franco444: Thanks for the support man!
@jameslong: To even be compared with those guys… Glad you like it
@both: Looking forward to hearing more of your stuff – keep ’em coming!
Whoa – cool track man! Hugh guitar tone, nice lead and the chord progression during the “chorus” is brilliant!
If anything, you could perhaps try to get the snare a bit more “aggressive” – but that’s purely a matter of taste (people have always something to say about the snare sound, right?)
Love it – would be nice to hear with some grim vocals!
Thanks man! Very grateful for your support!
Looking forward to hearing your upcoming release!
@Franco444: Thanks man! Working on the brutality…
@jameslong: Thanks! Guitars are recorded “live”. The amp is a Peavey 5150 Mk 1, with a 4×12 Marshall MF400 cabinet. The mic is just a Sure SM58, real close to one speaker, slightly off centre. Dual tracks, panned left/right. For the solo (also dual tracks) I added chorus and delay from the GSP1101 (4 channel wiring method) – perhaps a bit “rich”…
You certainly have some serious playing skills! (and the same type of guitar as me…) Looking forward to hearing a song real soon.
Cool track! Nice and large sounding guitars!
You should add some sinister growls/screams!
The intro/chorus feels a bit long, but perhaps that wouldn’t be an issue with added vocals!
