I can’t totally confirm this yet, but I’ve heard that the “Ludicrous Speed” pedal reads the back motion of the bass drum pedal. I’m guessing that this is to play double bass parts with one pedal.

If anybody’s going, make sure to check out the Trick Drum booth. They’re unveiling a new hi-hat stand that they are saying will be as awesome as their pedals. We need a full report on how awesome they are.
