Thanks for the reply Juicy! It’s amazing how little information there is on such a cool subject, especially from the MANUFACTURES (ddrum themselves do not explain if any of their triggers are dual zone or single on their own site)!! That’s why I love Superior and this forum, cool people with good information.
Anywho, yeah, I really didn’t want to go with the TMC6 anyways, and it looks like the Alesis Trigger IO (http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/TriggerIO/) is PERFECT!! Why was this so hard to find? Thank you so much!
As far as heads go, not sure yet. Going to experiment with using full acoustic heads and matching the samples to get a really fat sound. If that doesn’t work, maybe I’ll try mesh heads or major dampening of the entire kit. Lots of experimentation ahead, should be fun. Thanks again for all the help!

Man, that looks really cool. I love DIY solutions… too bad I’ve already moved out of my 2nd floor dorm (that was a tough couple of months) 🙂
