BUT, my work around is to enable “Accessibility” feature on OS X. The key command to Zoom In is Command+Option+Plus sign. While I think it better the UI should already have this built in, this is kind of workable for now.
If you’re on a Windows machine, there must be a comparable Accessibility feature.
