I will tell you the best way to introduce your Superior Drummer 3 in garageband reorder the drummer track into a product instrument track to transform it into MIDI notes. Go down into the Piano Roll/Smart Controls subsequent to hitting “P” or “B” on your console so you can alter the timing, speed, type, and impact of each note independently.

Not sure what the op means by “sounds” but you can use Logic plugin effects by simply inserting them in the insert slots in the channel you put EZKeys in the instrument slot. And of course, you can send that output to an aux in Logic and put Logic effects on the aux channel like reverb and delay, etc. On the other hand, I’d prefer trying other alternatives to Logic Pro X.

Are your plug-ins not showing up in Garageband? Apple has strictly said “NO” to normal AUs so forget Garageband now for this. But, we have few steps that can help you but in new Garageband X only.

    1. First, make sure you’ve created a Software Instrument track. By default, the instrument will be Classic Electric Piano.
    2. Next, click on the Smart Controls button.
    3. A window will show at the bottom of GarageBand. Click the “i” icon as pictured below to reveal more options.
    4. You will see a section labeled Audio Units. Click on the area that says “Instruments.”
    5. From there, you can select the manufacturer of your instrument. In this case, you have Toontrack’s EZDrummer installed, so you have to choose that.
    6. You may be asked to lower GarageBand’s security settings in order to run your plug-in. Click Lower Security Settings.
    7. Your AU instrument has been inserted.

    Operating system: macOS Sierra (10.12)
