I’ve tried every possible drum kit including the GM Standard one without any luck.

I’ve also changed the note number for the HH controller but that only changes the MIDI signal that gets sent when the pedal is pressed. Upon release of the pedal, I’m still getting the tom signal…

I’ve even unplugged all other triggers and, in an act of desperation, even switched cables to make sure I didn’t have a bad one…

But Reaper is listed as a supported host for EZ Drummer: http://www.toontrack.com/product/ezdrummer-2/

In any case, as I mentioned in my second post, I’m having the very same issue with Toontrack Solo and I’m using the E-drums controller preset so it doesn’t look like it’s an incompatibility issue with the host.

Some more info…

I’ve also tried EZ Drummer on Toontrack Solo and VSTHost and in both cases I’m also getting the floor tom triggered when the hi-hat pedal is depressed.

And finally, I’m not seeing this issue using Addictive Drums (demo version) on Reaper.

Any help would be hugely appreciated.
