Personally, I’d like to be able to sort & group all of the various MIDI grooves by BPM regardless of style or product line (EZX, SDX).

I thought responded to this after you posted this question. I guess it didn’t go through. There isn’t any sort of MIDI performance library with Trilian.

I wouldn’t mind an EZ Bass plugin with upright bass, a Fender P-bass, a McCartney-esque Hofner Viola Bass, and a hollowbody with flatwounds. Preferably, sampled with mic’d amp(Ampeg BR15?) and D.I. perspectives with round robins, several velocities, and a picked or fingered tool option. Include Bass MIDI performance packs for bluegrass, soul, country, rock, and folk…and I won’t be able to give Toontrack my money fast enough.

Yes. Thank you. You did respond to my question in another thread
(http://www.toontrack.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=128798 post #5) where you had also posted the same comments that you posted here prompting my questions.

I was sure which thread that you might have been monitoring. Thanks again.
You saved me the disappointment & cost of purchasing Trillian.
…but I will happily buy a Toontrack EZbass module.
They really seem to know how to put together a quality product and importantly,
how to support & supplement it.

I also cast my vote for EZ Bass, but really I don’t want the samples. I already have Spectrasonics Trilian. What I’d like is actually a library of common patterns, walks, and runs/fills played by a real bass player and categorized by style in the MIDI format. For me, the samples part is already more than covered…

Interesting & timely. I have been exhaustively researching Spectrasonics Trillian.
I love the samples and videos showcasing it being played but I could not find any mention
whether there was any MIDI included with the product – only a mention of an Arpeggiator.

Wagz, Can I assume from your post/request that Trillian does NOT include any MIDI?

Yes!!! cast my vote for EZ Bass!!!
I play guitar but am not confident in my bass playing or tone.
I have bought and use EZDrummer, EZKeys and SuperiorDrummer.
I am a huge Toontrack fan and own many of the EZX’s and SDX’s.
