    • what version of EZDrummer?
    • what version of Pro Tools?
    • were there any custom deviation(s) from the standard installation of EZDrummer or Pro Tools?
    • did you install the AAX version of EZDrummer?
    • can you confirm that the EZDrummer plugin exists in the following location:
      (Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > Avid > Audio > Plug-ins)
    • does EZDrummer run in standalone?
    • has EZDrummer ever run in Pro Tools? if so, what changes were made since then?
    • what hardware are running?
    • how much RAM?

You might want to review your SD3 ‘Cache Settings’ described here in the manual…
    9.3.4 Settings Window Performance Tab

beyond the “base” SDX library that comes with SD3,
just going thru the Product Description pages,
after sorting them by Release Date for the latest releases…

    Orchestral Percussion (11.1)
    Decades (up to 9.1)
    The Rooms of Hansa (5.1)
Legacy of Rock (up to 5.1)
    Stories (up to 5.0)
The Jazz Sessions (selected kits recorded with a 5.0 surround mic setup)

could the MIDI be in the wrong octave?

fyi: a MIDI groove does not loop unless your DAW, the EZkeys Song Track
or the EZkeys Groove Browser instructs it to do so.

Any standard 8-bar groove laid out end-to-end in the Song Track 4 times
will play for 32 bars and it won’t loop unless the ‘loop’ function is enabled.
Any number of grooves laid out end-to-end in the Song Track for any length
will play end-to-end and won’t loop unless the ‘loop’ function is enabled.

You should definitely review this section of the EZkeys manual:
    The EZkeys Song Track

You could open another instance of EZDrummer
on a 2nd track with a different sample library.

I LOVE the ‘Abyss’ preset in EZKeys 2.
If I want the pads only (LOVE the pads in this voice) is it possible to turn the piano off?
I apologize if this has been discussed, but I am not finding it in a search.
    THANKS

    I looked but couldn’t find it…

I’m sorry, I chose the wrong answer and I’m inquiring again. While I was authorizing the Toontrack products on my new laptop, the following phrase was displayed. Can you solve this problem?

Once you’ve converted your drums to MIDI, made your fixes & quantized the MIDI,
it’s my belief that you can only revert the MIDI to Toontrack (or another brand) samples.
I don’t think your original audio is an option any more.

Please correct me if I’m wrong and maybe I’m misreading the OP
but it sounds like he’s got songs in Logic with no drums at all.
No MIDI drums. No audio drums.

I think that what he really wants the functionality of EZDrummer3’s Bandmate
to help him build drum parts…

or he could use Logic Pro 11’s Session Drummer to follow a track

without knowing to which TT product you are inquiring,
I’m pretty sure that a [Preview in Original Tempo] button
    exists in every TT product.

in SuperiorDrummer3, it is in the ‘Header Bar’ below the Grooves tab:
    ScreenShot2017-08-14at12.16.26PM

in EZDrummer3, EZKeys2, and EZBass, it is also in the ‘Header Bar’ below the Grooves tab,
    next to the [Tempo] button:
    Tempo_placeholder

only asking for myself, just out of simple curiosity,
(without any affiliation to Toontrack, or to any drummer
or to any studio where these MIDI grooves have been recorded)

what do you think a fair & equitable price would be for a single MIDI performance would be?
