The email is misleading. If you look carefully, “EZ Expansion” is exempt from this “20% discount offer”. The small print says: “All items available in the webshop for the duration of the promotion apply, except for…” and then there’s a list of pretty much all the software they sell. So, in this instance, I don’t think it would’ve made a difference for you. I’m in a similar boat

I haven’t heard anything back from Toontrack but  I think the  “20% discount offer” applies to a very small number of products. Here’s the (long) list of exceptions to that offer:

I too went to buy some Toontrack software, prompted by the “20% discount on your next purchase in the Toontrack webshop” sent to me via email. But my coupon code doesn’t work and, on closer inspection, doesn’t apply to almost the entire product line. What’s the point of sending that email?
