Same issue here. MacOS 12.7.2. Logic 10.7.9. Superior Drummer 2. I’m recalling some older sessions and no instance of SD2 will play back MIDI. Clicking on drums within the plugin window plays the sound, but the lack of playback makes the plugin useless. It sure would be great to upgrade to SD3, but Toontrack won’t let us. Frustrating to say the least.
Toontrack… do you have any advice on this? If you won’t let people upgrade, could someone at least help us run the software we already bought from you?
I’m here to be one more uphappy customer on the record. Like many others, I saw the upgrade emails when Superior Drummer 3.0 was released, but the upgrade didn’t make sense at the time, and I honestly thought it seemed odd Toontrack would discontinue an upgrade path. I would upgrade in a heartbeat now, but what Toontrack has done is such a slap in the face to their existing customers that I’d rather re-program existing tracks using their competitors’ software than buy 3.0 outright.
