Hi I am interested in purchasing EZ drummer 3.
From what I understand if you purchase a licence you can run two computers concurrently with a single version of software? Is this correct?
Also is the licence owned for life ie can the software be installed on my computer when I eventually upgrade computer indefinitely??
Thank you
Toontrack allows two(2) active authorizations at one time with four(4) total authorizations. This means that you can have two computers authorized to use your Toontrack product concurrently.
You can read more about authorizations here: https://www.toontrack.com/faq/how-many-computers-can-i-install-my-products-on/
Yes, you can download your products as many times as you want to.
We recommend using the Product Manager application to login to your account so you can easily download, install, and authorize your product(s) to your computer.
The Product Manager is the best way to complete everything all from within one location.
The Product Manager can be downloaded at this link:

Toontrack allows two(2) active authorizations at one time with four(4) total authorizations. This means that you can have two computers authorized to use your Toontrack product concurrently.
While Toontrack can never add active authorizations to your account we can reset your total authorizations if you end up needing more than four.
The only way to get more than two active authorizations is to purchase another serial number.
You can read more about authorizations here: https://www.toontrack.com/faq/how-many-computers-can-i-install-my-products-on/

I’m not quite sure that I understand your question, but you can move your Sound Libraries to an external hard drive if you want to save space.
For EZdrummer 3, you can find information on how to move your sound library in the manual here: https://www.toontrack.com/manual/ezdrummer-3/9/9-4-the-settings-menu/#9-4-4-the-libraries-paths-tab

Thanked by: Scott EshlemanHi, I’m using Ventura 13.4.1, Logic Pro 10.7.9, and I’ve tried everything in this post, but nothing’s working. Is there an update on the process to get EZ Drummer 2 to work on newer systems? I’ve tried uninstalling, reinstalling, restarting, and nothing’s working. I even tried clearing the cache, but that didn’t work either.
Hi, are you running the M1/M2 processor?
EZ Drummer 2 has been discontinued for some time now and is no longer being updated. EZD2 does not have Apple Silicon M1/M2 native compatibility so depending on your DAW, you must run your DAW in Rosetta mode in order to use EZD2 (Right-click the Logic.app in the Finder – Applications > Get Info > Open using Rosetta)

Then replaced them, was fine, had an issues, apple made me reinstall god knows how many times, then they took the machine to repair it, leaving me with an old machine which of course was wiped. and I reinstall and it says no. It is 9 titles. I tried to fill out the form and after finishing it up it says I wasn’t allowed to use that either apparently. The worst part is here in a couple of weeks I will be getting both of the new machines back from apple. So I am certain they will have reinstalled macOS yet again. Thus needing another authorization. Please help. This is my software I paid my own money for Im NOT sharing my license information with the world or anything! lol.

Shootie has a video about this and how to solve it:
You will need to get into your main EZDrummer\Midi folder and remove “EZX_70s” file from within that Midi folder.
Then, from within EZD3 standalone, use the EZD3 Settings > Advanced > Restore MIDI database option. That should effectively remove the listing for the deleted “EZX 70s” file.
