It is unbelievably frustrating to me that SD2 was discontinued. It had the kit I use 100% of the time to work. My old Mac Mini just died, so I got a Macbook Pro 14 M1. Every other plugin and sim I use transferred fine. However, SD2 is now dead in the water. The only way I can get those sounds back is to buy SD3 for $400, and the expansion pack for another $200. This is you guys telling me a tool I have been using for years is still available if I want to spend $600 to get sounds I already purchased AND lose 230GB of space on my hard drive for sounds I will never use.
Artists use tools they find in perpetuity. You guys have made my life really difficult. I have multiple projects that are now dead in the water because of this. I am beyond frustrated.
Superior Drummer 2 has been discontinued for some time now and is no longer being updated. SD2 does not have Apple Silicon M1/M2 native compatibility so depending on your DAW, you must run your DAW in Rosetta mode in order to use SD2.
We can see that you have EZdrummer 2 registered to your account, which makes you eligible for the discounted Crossgrade version of Superior Drummer 3.
Your old sound libraries will also work with SD3.

When I attempt to log into product manger it does not allow me to, and says “the user name or password is not correct.” I’ve double-checked to see this is correct. I attempted the password recovery from the PM login, and it tells me there is no account associated with my email address, despite being able to log into the website. I am not able to download the SD3 sound library because product manager will not let me log in.

Hi I am interested in purchasing EZ drummer 3.
From what I understand if you purchase a licence you can run two computers concurrently with a single version of software? Is this correct?
Also is the licence owned for life ie can the software be installed on my computer when I eventually upgrade computer indefinitely??
Thank you
Toontrack allows two(2) active authorizations at one time with four(4) total authorizations. This means that you can have two computers authorized to use your Toontrack product concurrently.
You can read more about authorizations here: https://www.toontrack.com/faq/how-many-computers-can-i-install-my-products-on/
Yes, you can download your products as many times as you want to.
We recommend using the Product Manager application to login to your account so you can easily download, install, and authorize your product(s) to your computer.
The Product Manager is the best way to complete everything all from within one location.
The Product Manager can be downloaded at this link:

Toontrack allows two(2) active authorizations at one time with four(4) total authorizations. This means that you can have two computers authorized to use your Toontrack product concurrently.
While Toontrack can never add active authorizations to your account we can reset your total authorizations if you end up needing more than four.
The only way to get more than two active authorizations is to purchase another serial number.
You can read more about authorizations here: https://www.toontrack.com/faq/how-many-computers-can-i-install-my-products-on/

I’m not quite sure that I understand your question, but you can move your Sound Libraries to an external hard drive if you want to save space.
For EZdrummer 3, you can find information on how to move your sound library in the manual here: https://www.toontrack.com/manual/ezdrummer-3/9/9-4-the-settings-menu/#9-4-4-the-libraries-paths-tab

Thanked by: Scott EshlemanHi, I’m using Ventura 13.4.1, Logic Pro 10.7.9, and I’ve tried everything in this post, but nothing’s working. Is there an update on the process to get EZ Drummer 2 to work on newer systems? I’ve tried uninstalling, reinstalling, restarting, and nothing’s working. I even tried clearing the cache, but that didn’t work either.
Hi, are you running the M1/M2 processor?
EZ Drummer 2 has been discontinued for some time now and is no longer being updated. EZD2 does not have Apple Silicon M1/M2 native compatibility so depending on your DAW, you must run your DAW in Rosetta mode in order to use EZD2 (Right-click the Logic.app in the Finder – Applications > Get Info > Open using Rosetta)
