Hi Tucanchu,
Interesting post, too bad they didn’t finish it with an example and update by the forum host. …. We have been moving from the uk to the us this past week and cannot setup my pc yet. ….. I have been using these plug ins for several months and have not had any issues like this to my hears, hope you can get this resolved for you. ….I use reaper as my daw and the poster did give an update from his PT9 on that link. ..UPDATE: The ezkeys Grand Piano plugin also does not exhibit the artifacts,
Keep us posted and yeah maybe record it for the forum host. ….let’s get to the bottom of this!
Cheers, Jeff
Hi,
Sorry for the late reply…I just listened to the demo of both the studio and the Grand piano with a ballads verse midi. What I heard was a bit of a sizzle possibly some compression from either the console or a compressor or both which i find very complimentary to the sound.
It also of course depends on the feel of the player playing the midi files how hard he hits the notes how much that might come through…In other words different midi might have less sizzle than others but i have found it to be a very pleasing result for mixes for my Retro keys pack.
Is that what you’re hearing?
Cheers, jeff
Cheers Scott,
But I actually HAVE those drum maps but some of the HITS and PERC pads and such on some of the EZX’s (ie. Hip hop/Electronic/Number #1 hits ect..) are hard to Sus out where they show up on the Piano roll even when they are LABELED…LOL There are sooo many cool sounds and pad hits sometimes I just get LOST trying to figure out where to trigger them from…So That’s why I was hoping there was a way to just hit the drums in the EZX and see the piano roll respond, like the reverse of when you hit the piano roll and see the drums respond….
I Have tried this and It is still not showing up on my Piano roll in reaper….I am still looking to see if all the inputs see the midi…If you have any other suggestions plz lemme know…Thanks again Henrick!
Thanks Henrick,
I just checked that in my EZD2 and restarted my DAW (Reaper) and it is not responding to the PIANO ROLL…Is there something I need to do in my DAW?
Thanks John,
I haven’t seen any of MY MIDI showing up in SONG CREATOR yet (I do see it in tap to find searches though) but I did learn a great tip when in SONG CREATOR if I right click any of the suggested grooves and hit SEARCH WITH TAGS it gives me even MORE options and suggestions to choose from!! So that is a BIG PLUS!!
Cheers, jeff
Hey!
No, you’re good to go…There are many midi grooves in the Ezkeys library you bought…I have a ton of extra midi packs but I find that I get my basic stuff from the original library most of the time… Hope that helps (-;
