1. Master fader that shows if you’re clipping or not
2. Additional editing options? Not to the extent of SD3 obviously, but maybe an EQ and reverb for all EZX expansions?
I’m sure I’ll think of more but that’s all I got for now.
Thanks!
Hi Scott. After thinking about this some more, would my laptop (based on the specs I’ve provided) run SD3 with the basic install and maybe the room mic install without installing the surround sound mics? Also, since my laptop runs EZ2 and SD2 with no issues, is there some other reason that makes you think it will not work? Just seems strange to me that it wouldn’t be able to handle SD3 if it can run the others. Thank you in advance.
It’s 64 bit and I will be running it in standalone. I don’t use a DAW. We’ll see what happens I guess.
Correction. Again, SD2 runs flawlessly on this.

This is close. Mine might be a 4GB, but I’m not positive and I’m not by it right now.

I own SD2 and EZ Drummer 2. I’m happy to pay the $200 and support these guys. It’s not that much money and it looks like a lot of work went into this. That’s my opinion anyway.
I would love to see a quick video showing the difference in sound with the basic install and full install with all mics. I think that will help everyone decide what they need or want.
Thanks!
Just posted this on someone’s request regarding EZ Drummer, but I think this applies to this as well.
I’d like bigger drum sounds myself which I’ve posted about before. I mean truly studio ready drums with a few extra options for tweaking (EQ, compression, reverb, other effects, etc.) if desired. Yes, I know Superior Drummer has these features and I own that software as well. I’m talking about making the next EZ Drummer somewhere in between the two. Basically, I would like to see EZ Drummer as it is with some more editing options, but simplified. Superior Drummer is great, but not all of us are experts on mixing drums. Thanks.
