Another weird one. I brought up the Bob Rock Rock Kit 1 preset and the cymbals don’t trigger. Just the hi hat. I see the cymbals move on screen when I hit the pads, but no sound. What is going on? Would this have anything to do with me just having the basic library installed? I noticed on a few presets in the mixer section there were a few channels that said the mics were not routed. Thanks.

    Hi Henrik,

I’m getting nowhere here. I’ve hit the pad soft and hard and I just get the first snare at the top of the list on the Metal Confusion preset. I tried playing around with the velocity gate and had no luck. I checked all of the MIDI mapping and all three snares have the same note number (38) for the center hit , so when I hit the snare pad it should be triggering all three since it triggers the first one correct? I even hit the drop down menu under MIDI mapping and tried the learn function. I clicked that and hit the snare and got nothing. All three snares sound when I play one of the included grooves though. It’s driving me nuts! I’m hoping you or someone can help here. Thanks.

I’ve just added the center hit which is what I’m hitting as well, but like I mentioned in my other posts, this is happening even when I load a preset without editing anything. I’ve only installed the basic library so far. Do you think that has anything to do with it? What’s weird is I’ll click the center stack tab above all of the snares and they all sound, but I hit my snare pad and only the first snare plays.

Yes I understand how to add a snare for stacking. What I’m saying is that they do not trigger. For example, your Metal Confusion preset has 4 snares stacked, but when I hit the snare pad on my e drum kit only the first one plays. The other 3 do not.

Hey guys. I was able to correct this by making some adjustments in the MIDI settings on my drum module. Thanks for the fast responses though! These kits sound killer by the way! It’s insane.

    Hi Damian,
Yes I tried that. I have it set to the closed setting, but it still sounds a little open. Doesn’t close tight. It seems like adjusting ANY of the articulations does nothing as if the software isn’t reading my hi hat, but that can’t be the case because it plays sound when I hit it. I’m puzzled here.

Sorry. Forgot to add that I’m using the Roland TD-25 module.

I’m surprised Sweetwater said that because they will be selling it along with Toontrack. This is supposed to just be the library and does not include the software correct Toontrack? The description says “This version of Superior Drummer 3 includes a 256GB solid-state drive loaded with the software’s core sample library. Call your Sales Engineer for more details.” Here’s the link.

I thought of that too, but no they are not. Is there any way for you to see if I’m listed on your email list and if not can you add me manually?

Any word on this? Just want to make sure I will receive emails about any updates or future releases. I’ve purchased a lot of your products and I plan to buy more of them so this will benefit you and I both.

    Thanks.

Hi. Just wondering if you’ve had a chance to read my question above or if you had any questions.

    Thanks.

For sure! I would love to see them release something like that.
