I did contact support and told them about this thread which has received zero input or response from Toontrack;  this was the reply:

    “Thanks for your email.

We will forward the forum to our home office for consideration in future updates. It is a feature we all want, in a long list of features that may/or may not be in development. Unfortunately, support does not get a heads up to development paths and features Posting on the forums and forwarding to the home office are the best options. ”

…to which I replied “Ok-thank you!! I do think however that making the Product Manager better for users should be a priority for the developers.”

Hallo Olof, sorry to butt in on this thread, but there is a thread which has received ZERO replies from anyone at Toontrack which I find weird!! Would you please consider taking a look at it? Thank you!! https://www.toontrack.com/forums/topic/updating-multiple-products-feature-request/page/3/#post-3154972

“Other audio companies have been pushing product managers as the only way of installing their software.”

Well Toontrack actually do have a product manager – it just has crappy functionality which does not make life easy for users with multiple products when updating.

    WAKE UP TOONTRACK PLEASE!!

I suggest we all write directly to support as it appears Toontrack are not responding here – the reply one whole year ago is the *only one* so far.

I’m quite suprised that a company of the quality of Toontrack hasn’t taken care of this- they are WAY behind every other music software developer in this respect

It’s hard to believe that over ONE WHOLE YEAR ago the response from Toontrack was”yes, this is something we want to do” and NOTHING has happened. Meanwhile one product after another is introduced. Why is no energy going into supporting a feature that would save users sooo much time? I have about 50 products to update. It’ll take me what, 2 hours?

Come on Toontrack! Step up and be like Spectrasonics, Arturia, and other top companies! It’s great to have cool products but you need to make using the a breeze, pleez 😉 !!!

    Thanks

    Nigel

I personally find the lack of Drag & Drop in the demo version a big limitation in checking out what EZK can really do.
