    Thank you gseshleman,

    Ok, so basically the MIDI packs are just the MIDI DATA which can be used to trigger whatever DRUM VST you open it with (Groove Agent, JamSticks, Batterie, etc), but contains no actual samples/sounds etc. Hence they are half the price! I have Groove Agent 3 but am happy to continue using this as a standalone in Cubase. (I was going to upgrade to Groove Agent for over Xmas but after trying out the free trial, I thought it was totally awful in every imaginable way!. A very bad move by Steinberg and there are many disappointed lifelong supporters who have decided to jump ship to another Drum VST manufacturer. After much research I finally chose EzD2).

    Anyway gseshleman, in which case I think the EZX format is most suited to me (rather than the MIDI) I would hope you agree.

    Thanks very much indeed.

    I am new here so am getting used to the terminology of ToonTracks.

    I need to work out whether it is the EZX’s I would be most suited to or the MIDI packs?
