Good job mixing everything together, everything blends. I’m wondering what the vocals would sound like with the delay and verb dialed back a bit.

On the party noise, it’s fits, but I would recommend changing up the tone, pushing the drive a little more, maybe using a different pickup selection on the guitar. It sounds like there’s 3 competing guitars there all using the same tone, which is why that part may feel a little boring. Emphasize the solo a little more and make the interlude build up.

Well first, it seems like there’s some weird degrading compression on the hi-hats. Not sure what that is, but I downloaded the 128kbps mp3 and still heard it. Sounds like broken glass.

In general, the overheads seem to be missing some presence. The snare has a lot of verb and the OH mics don’t sound like they’re in the same room.

The guitar tone you have is very muted. Why not bring it out? You’re obviously playing some cool rhythms, but it’s not very noticable.

Cool tune, I dig the creepy hook that starts the song. Guitar tone is great, good presence without sacrificing the girth. Probably overlooked is the bass tone– very nice job on that. Love gritty bass tones.

    Two critiques–
    1. Maybe more preference, but I like flat sounding kicks better than the bouncing kind. The kick in your recordings bounces too much for me given the style that you’re playing. Might be as simple as changing the beater selection, but going easier at 12k would also have the same effect.
    2. The accent snares in the intro (the off beat, quick 1-2’s) seem too quiet on a few ocassions. I’d up the velocities on those to continue the flow.

Overall, very nice. Will be listening to the rest of your work today.
