I’m not planning to play gigs with it, I just want better drumming sounds haha. Too bad there isn’t a demo version of SD because I dont want to buy it if I’m not sure it’ll work or not. I guess I’ll have to go look for other software or just save money for a new drumkit with more sounds. Thanks for the help.
I see, thanks. however though, if I connect my e-drums to my laptop using SD, connect my headphones to my laptop and play on my kit, then it’s basically like playing with new drum sounds, right? (i’ve got plenty of extension cables here so it might work out.)
Thanks alot for the information. Also, I noticed there’s Superior Drummer 2.0 and crossgrade. What’s the diffirence between them?

Yes, you can use the sounds in EZdrummer when using an E-drum setup.
Keep in mind that EZdrummer is only supported when using Toontrack Solo as host. If you plan on using another DAW (Pro Tools, Cubase, et al) I would seriously look into purchasing Superior Drummer 2. It is designed to be used with E-drums whilst EZdrummer is not.
So that means if I buy Superior Drummer 2, I can be 100% sure that I will be able to change the sounds of my e-drums? If thats the case then I’ll definitely buy it.
