Just thought I’d try again on my new laptop – native resolution 3000×2000. Despite giving up on complicated internal tweaks since the 90s, I tried everything – .manifest files, disabling scaling, etc. Nothing works.

At this point, it’s just pure comedy.

Just wanted to bump up this thread. I just tried to install and use EZKeys on my new Surface 3, with a standard resolution of 2160×1440, EZKeys is, frankly, unusable. It’s hard to estimate, but I would guess the font size inside the EZKeys window to be 2 or 3 pt., so tiny as to make most of the window semi-legible at best. It is certainly headache-inducing trying to use it; I had to give up after about 15min. I have tried lowering my screen resolution, and it made the window bigger, but made the font unbearably fuzzy. (In any case, this is an unreasonable concession to make for a single application.) I frequently use EZKeys standalone, as a way to capture ideas as they strike, and then flesh them out before transferring to my DAW. As it stands now, the interface makes this problematic, and I suspect I will not be using the program much. Additionally, I had been waiting to upgrade my computer before buying additional MIDI packs. I won’t be making those purchases now. This is unfortunate for both of us.

I have coded in the past, so I understand how the skeuomorphic graphic layout makes resizing difficult. However, I have to concur with the posters above — this is more of Toontrack’s problem than mine.
