So after extensive research on this matter with Studio One 3 I have confirmed that they DO NOT support Polyphonic After touch for cymbal choke on Edrums !! This is actually crazy that a company as big as they are in this day and age, with a DAW that they feel is competing as one of the best does not support this function ?!!?
I guess everyone needs to get on Presonus and tell them to get with the times ASAP !!

Thanked by: HenrikYes, I have made sure this is not selected and it is set to off by default.. From what I have read so far this is a real problem in Studio One 3 and has been since the begging but has not been resolved yet !!
This would be what comes with SD3 only using SD3 “Roomy” presets. I am using the Premier Toms and Kick to build a custom kit.
Thanks !
Hi thanks for the reply,
Sorry I forgot to mention this is for SD3 so I’m assuming its not part of the recording and should be able to get rid of it but I could be wrong.
Hi, Thank you for replying !!
I have included a screenshot of the articulations that are selected. It seems after the update some of my midi mapping was different on my saved setup for my Edrum kit and had to remap some instruments, but I lost the choke function also.
Thanks for the reply !
Well I tried this out and had very little success if any at all ? I am trying to take a dry ride cymbal and add lots of sustain to it but its so small of a change I don’t even notice it, Is there anything else I could be missing ?
Thanks !
I may have found what I’m looking for, I selected “Edit visibility ” and busses 1-16 showed up. Would I just name the ones I need and rout each instrument to them ?
@ rrosin I believe what I would do after that is what you suggested right ?
Thanks
