Not sure you can, but really, to remove kick and do it again until you’ve nailed it might be quicker than another window inside Tap 2 Find to remove one ore more instruments, one or more times…
I just had a play with this and split the track ( so you can edit just the part of the midi you want to remove the kick drum from).
then double click on the midi part you want to remove kick drum from, i then clicked on “Edit Play Style” and in the pull down menu chose the ‘kick’ drum, then to the right of the ‘Amount’ knob there is a pull down menu with which you will then choose ‘remove midi’
There might be a better way, i thought i saw another way in some of the tutorials i have.
Thanks John.
i think i understood the offline authorization bit.
What puzzles me a little is in MY PRODUCTS:
1. EZdrummer 1, Americana & Rock EZX, as well as all my EZmix and EZkeys products SHOW the authorization code when i authorized them online.
2. However Ezdrummer2 and Pop Rock DO NOT SHOW the authorization code, just an option to download it despite previously the both showed the authorization code before i installed Americana & Rock EZX.
i thought it should show the authorization code if i have authorized the product and have it working via VSTi and standalone?
Is it also fine to remove the registration from EZdrummer and Ezdrummer Lite from the computer that has been upgraded to EZdrummer 2?
I have Metal Amps. Amps and Classic Amps to soothe my GAS for guitar tone. They are very good, plenty of options.
I have Vocal & Lead Vocal for much the same reasons. Don’t always use them but sometimes they do fit the song and/or work well alongside other plugs. I really haven’t explored these in great depth yet.
I also have Metal Guitar Gods, mainly for Devin Townsend sounds. I am probably a little disappointed in these, there isn’t many Devin presets compared to others, but still, they may all get their use sometime down the track.
It’s always some fun when acquiring new packs. I don;t have any of the Packs you have bought, so keen to know your thoughts, especially the vocals in the producer packs.

I was also wrong believing morons like you who dont understand how music is arranged and produced.
.
hehe..yeah, alright.
Good luck with your music!
The Cover songs was only a small part of my question, as it was something you brought up. I am not saying you ARE an idiot, but you are being an idiot in the way you talk down in your responses. Maybe it get’s in the way of how you can use ezkeys?
i think what you would like is something more like George Duke Soul Treasures, in the way it sets it samples out, but yes, that isn’t a piano. Fair enough too, it’s a good program. I personally didn’t have the expectations i was getting that.
Dense? i wasn’t the one who bought something without knowing what I was getting…
See ya.
Just so i understand what the issue is for you, let’s say you want to add piano to a cover song, or add piano to your own song….
In a perfect world, what would you like TT or another developer to deliver? And no, I’m not saying EZkeys already does what you want it to do.
For example, are you wanting a product that can analyse data ( a song), and provide ideas of chords/melodies that could play/fit to such a song?
For me – and i am not after a response on whether the way i use it is useful or not, if I have a song ready and want to add piano, there wouldn’t be many midi files with EZkeys that would fit my song. However i have found at times a midi file that was interesting against my song, so i used it and edited it appropriately by way of changing chords and changing some of the melodic piano parts to suit my song. I would not have been able to think of something better as i don’t play piano. I needed inspiration (help) and have at times found it this way. I do the same thing with ezdrummer.
I also have resonated with some midi files that come with EZkeys or midi packs, and i cut and past, edit, turn upside down some midi files to get something i find pleasing and can go about adding guitars, bass and drums to. My piano skillset would never have allowed me to find this song that i have generated from multiple midi files across different midi packs. I do the same thing with EZdrummer.
What do i need? A load more Pop, Rock, Ballad midi packs! More opportunities and inspiration please!
i agree and am also a guitar player that can also only play basic keys, I bought it for what it was, and it has provided me more than expected.
Would i want more from it? Sure…the only thing i would like is to have more availability of the midi genres i like.
appreciate the responses guys, I can see the benefits in getting the EZX pack as advised. I am getting a few soon, but will wait when the EZX are on sale for the less desired EZX’s.
I haven’t seen the EZX on sale yet just $10-$20 more than midi packs.
i once bough a 6 pack and immediately chose 3 (i think), then later chose 1 more.
So i had 2 left and at a later date i wanted to chose the final 2 however one license did not work.
I contacted Toontrack who fixed the issue for me, no problems. However I was advised that i was expected to choose the 6 at the time of purchase.
Either way, Toontrack came to the party.

Yes, we have those forum areas. Just to make clear, what happens when you go to this link: http://www.toontrack.com/forum/ezdrummer-help/ ?
I logged on today and did not have access to the EZdrummer & EZmix forums, however went to your link, logged in and now i have access to EZdrummer and EZmix.
However i still don;t have access to EZkeys forums.
I’ve had access since today after they advised they are working on fixing this…whilst not great for us after the release of a new product, let’s be patient.
