Hello do you still have stockholm ?
Sorry wrong post
I own now a Yamaha DTX-Pro and I think I have discovered something: if the module sends a specific splash note then turning off the splash sensitivity setting and using the Edrum optimized option in SD3 gives you completely clean chicks and splashes, the Yamaha DTX-Pro sends note 23 for splashes, the roland modules, 2box, atv, ef note don’t send a splash note but it is based on time after a pedal closed note 44. I think the mimic pro sends a separate splash note as well. That’s why the splashes on many VST’s don’t play well with all roland modules, I tried on SSD5, forget it, no splashes at all. So the only modules I know will play well with SD3 hihat are right now the Yamaha DTX-Pro (X) and the Mimic Pro.
SD3 3.2.5 is out and has some new settings for the hihat opennes transitions as well as a splash sensitivity settng, please tell me the hihat now works…
Any update on this front? TOONTRACK, HOW HARD IS TO IMPLEMENT A “SEND CC VALUES ONLY WHEN HIHAT HIT” TOOGLE!
Someone can copy paste what is being latest said on the topic I created for this on the sd3 subforum? I don’t own it anymore so I can’t read the posts…
Lots of people are complaining, so why no answer? My Roland TD-50 kit triggering SD3 produces dreadfully low velocity data upon monitoring and recording. The entire reason I bought expensive edrums and SD3 is to get work done. It’s been like a year and I haven’t been able to get any “live” drum work done because the system will not work.
I bought a new MIDI interface, trying to remedy the velocity issues. It didn’t change anything. I’ve even tried 3 different sound modules. I tweaked the hell out of all of these modules with no difference. I’ve played endlessly with velocity curves in the software and hardware. Nothing works.
I’ve had this issue ever since the first time I tried triggering SD3 with edrums. That’s a long time ago, when 3 was released. I see lots of people complaining here about the same thing, but I find zero answers. Toontrak PLEASE HELP!
And yet the answer lies hidden in the “USB Audio in” gain setting….
