    Hey David,

I haven’t heard the previous mixes, but here I my thoughts:

I think it’s a great song. Acyually it’s not a song, it’s a piece. Very rich. My suggestion would be: stick a bit longer to one idea in the song, and build a bit more dynamics into them. To keep the listeners attention you might increase the tension – relief. If you switch too often between parts, you loose that build up.
I love the intro, outro and weird breakes, very surprising and original.

    Mix wise:
I think the drums are a touch too much in the front, it’s almost like a promotion mix for SD. Also, it seems that all snare hits are 127, wich makes them slightly mechanical.
    I love the bass sound!!!
Guitars sound a little like a wall, and lack definition in some parts: compressors too fast maybe?
The overall sound is amazingly clear. Actually it might add even some more punch too the mix if you allow a bit more mud in the low mids, a little bit of chaos, as if the band is almost too forceful to be controlled by an engineer.

    Great work!!!!
    Thanks

Thanks Waterboy. I used a multiband comp to tame the sub area. It’s now called Let’s Go Break Something mix2
