    @Mr. Icelander said:
    Basically a Jazz kit (including brushes!) but with a handful of percussions added in _one_ set, congas being the absolute must there.
    It would open up a whole new world of drum styles, from Ballroom (Rhumba, _proper_ Bossa/Samba, Cha-Cha et al) to Santana of the 70’s, and It would add a whole new flavour to the swung genres as well. TT’s intense focus on Rock & Metal is nice and all as such, but also quite limited. There is something to be said for those “sophisticated” and “elegant” drum styles of old as well 😉

    p.s. Yes, I’m sure this too has been requested before…so shoot me.

    What a great idea. Cool

    I am having the same problem. Extrem slow dwl and a very long dwl time. At best I am having a 8 mb/s dwl speed. worst speed is 0.0 and I have FTH 100/100….

    What seem to be the problem????

    I hope it was of any help Scottfelsen. When one is in a creative mode one should not go down on crappy software and lack of ways of work around 😀 Best of luck to you.

    Hi Scottfelsen. (First sorry for my broken English i hope you`ll be able to understand my post anyway)

    This is how I do.. Fist I open my DAW (in my case Pro tools LE 8.05…) I`ll ad an Instrument track and load the EZ drummer on to that.. Then I open my MIDI editor.. In my version of a MIDI editor I`ve got a piano role this will correspond with my EZ drummer I hit a key and I`ve got the snare drum sound I hit another key I`ve got the tom sound etc etc etc… (you could use a MIDI keyboard as well, as any key will correspond a drum sound! the layout of the individual drum sounds will be in the help menu of your EZ drummer, so far so good ;)) Now This is how I do things, properly all wrong and backwards… I do stuff without reading the manual as I find it totally misguiding, wrong and totally stupid……… (this of course is not true I am just a dumb ass of reading manuals and guides I do the ol`trail and error thingy as I have no patience and want the freaking SW to do what I want it to do without reading pages up and down..So the darn thing better listen when I swear at it )
    So far I`ve been doing this: Load pro tools open my project add an Instrument track and load my version of EZ drummer… Depending of how deep I am into the project I start out with a guitar track and play my rytm git… and then my drum track (in pro tools i load an instrument track and onto that my EZ) First I use the TAP TO FIND to kinda manually program the beat..bass and snare drum… The TAP TO FIND beat I`ve made I then drag onto the Play Role (the one that says “drag MIDI song block here”) and from the play role I drag it onto my Instrument track, open my MIDI editor and then I start tweaking using both the DAW`s Piano role, and my MIDI keyboard.. This I know is very time consuming but this is the way I do it… I`ll bet my furry ass that some one at Toontrack will laugh there butt of reading this way of doing drum programming 😀

    I could wish for a video course made by toontrack on how the heck one does a custom drum track step by step using nothing but EZ Drummer… Meaning 100% individual drum beats not using ANY of the pre made drum beats or a DAW MIDI editor.. Is it possible??? Have you tried to do a drum role… Hits on the High hat as in “smoke on the Water”…..
