They can try disabling any internet security software, Kaspersky for example. Or try using an anonymous VPN.

See post #5 above. Someone found a workaround for those using Windows 10 insider preview until Microsoft fixes their bug.

I have also tried toggling the Time Zone setting from Automatic to Manual (as well as back to Automatic) with no luck. While I can appreciate that the error may be caused by a bug in Windows 10, I still have paid quite a bit of money for software I can’t even install–much less use.

Is the any workaround I can use to install this software? I tried the manual download, but authorization fails. Curiously, when prompted for my computer ID number, the prompt calls for one more character than my computer ID has ( as reported by Settings/ About Windows).

I would really appreciate some help with this issue.

I am running a Windows 10 insider preview build. All other software works fine, but ToonTrack Product Manager gives me the following error on the main screen when I run it:
    UPDATE PRODUCT MANAGER
    Update check failed.
The network operation failed (cURL error code 35).
Retry and Quit buttons are shown.
    Any ideas?
