I opened up the .tts with notepad and I saw all the settings. It should be easy enough to just change the path inside of that. Sounds much easier than reinstalling. Thanks again.
Turn out it’s not the same. On my desktop (where I have the preset I want to export) it’s c:program filesvstplugins and on my laptop it’s c:program filessteinbergvstplugins. It’s actually a little starnge that it defaulted that way because I don’t have any steinberg products installed on the laptop (but I do on the desktop). Weird. Anyway, can I just move the dll over to the matching folder or will that mess anything up? Thanks.
FWIW, I use an edirol pcr a30 (usb) and an emu 1616m (PCMCIA Cardbus) with ez drummer and e-drums and very low latency (64 buffers in solo) on my older hp laptop (2.4 athlon 64 3700 w/1.2 gb ram and 7200rpm hd). Both work great.
