You can also quantize the different drum parts of a MIDI click, for example the snare. Right click on a block, choose “Edit Play Style”. In there – right click, for example, the snare on the drum kit and choose “Quantize” from the menu

Is it possible that you have two or more MIDI blocks on top of each other in Pro Tools? Have you disabled “Follow Host” in EZdrummer 2 or removed the MIDI from its internal MIDI track so that it doesn’t play both from Pro Tools’ and EZdrummer 2’s time line?

As Juicy said, it’s just to drag the song from EZdrummer 2 into your host (Logic, Cubase etc).
If you want to keep your song parts separated, drag each part separately, because if you select all blocks and drag them to your host they will be placed on your host’s timeline as one big block. Of course, you can cut it up in the host afterwards in any case

Yes, EZdrummer 2 is a download product. You’ll find the download option on the page My Products.

That is, unfortunately, the case. I will forward your request to the sound guys here at Toontrack however, to let them know that we have customers who would like that SDX as a MIDI pack!

The upgrades are only for products from the same line of products, in this case it means that only owners of EZdrummer 1 can upgrade.

If you want a snare at a special location there is always the possibility to use the record function to put snares (or other drums) where ever desired If you after that want to quantize what you just recorded – cut the MIDI block around the snare hit(s) you want to quantize, go into Edit Play Style on the cut block, right click on the snare and choose Quantize in the menu.
Another option is to use Tap2Find to look for a snare pattern you want. If you find a file that contains the snare pattern you are looking for, right click on that file and chose Copy, then right click the block you want to change and choose Paste/Snare. If you can’t find a file with the exact pattern you where looking for you can instead right click the Tap2Find MIDI file, choose Copy and paste that snare onto the block on the track.

I am going to leave the suggestion of packs for someone else to answer – but remember that you can use the “Use Web Shop MIDI” button (at the top of the Search tab) to browse the different MIDI packs that are available in our web shop
