I agree, this is too bad, and below explanation about how music theory works does not convince me…
I found a workaround as I also prefer to see a flat chord than a sharp. I use MIDIculous free version that shows in real time which chord I’m playing. When EZkeys shows a Fsharp MIDIculous shows me a Gflat and I’m happy with that.
