Was your recording done with multiple tracks? If so, and the performance is decent, there are tools to convert your audio drums into MIDI.

Toontrack makes one and many DAW’s have them as well.

Haven’t tried this but what about using those four mics and adding a short room reverb or short delay to the overheads?

What I was originally thinking, I think(?), is how interesting this thread is. It covers a lot of ground. I originally stumbled on it while trying to figure out what SDX to buy to complement the Avatar kit. Now, I’m wondering if I wouldn’t be better served by purchasing a producer pack and trying to figure out how to wring the full potential out of the Avatar stuff.

Sounds like you’re pretty happy with the Latin Percussion Pack. I’m thinking about getting it, but there aren’t that many examples to listen to. Doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of feedback on that product either, unless I’m not looking in the right place.

That’s pretty cool and the gang.  Are you still diggin’ this percussion pack?  Are the verbs on the samples themselves or are you using the room mics in Superior for that?
