Thanks for the replies guys. I tried both and neither one of them worked. However, I found a different soultion and I’m gonna drop it here so it might help someone else with a similar problem.

I set the hi hat sensitivity to 7 within the drum module. As you can guess this reduces the volume output significantly but it also removes the unwanted splash like sounds when doing fast chicks, especially when you keep lifting your foot up from the footboard (stomping style footwork) On the other hand, you gotta tweak with velocity and sound values within ezdrummer3 to compansate the low sensitivity. It’s not optimal per se but it’s somewhat a viable solution and can be worked with.

    Cheers all

    Hello there,

I have exactly the same problem. I’m usuing EZdrummer 3 standalone version 3.0.6 (build 35660) [64-bit] with Roland TD07kv + VH-10 and when I play fast paced hi hats with the pedal there is a constant splash sound. I tweaked every setting in the module, on the hi hat itself and the plug-in best to my knowledge but couldn’t get rid of the problem.

Any help would be most appreciated.

    Thank you
