Thanks guys. After your feedback I tried again and it seemed to be an issue with my broadband provider. As soon as I tethered my computer to my phone I could view the website. Later on I tried again connected to my home broadband and the site was up. There must have even a network issue where some sites could not be accessed? Weird.

I like your suggestions and agree with you. I would like Orchestral Strings. I listened to a demo of the Songwriters Tools EZmic Pack which has Strings as one of the demos. It sounded very good and I wondered why Toontracks don’t release a Strings Pack?

Having bought a number of Toontracks products over this Christmas period I can now say the midi packs for piano and drums are pathetic. Don’t get me wrong, I think Toontracks have a good product the problem is, they are very limited. When I bought Country Piano midi pack for example I was expecting a vast array of piano styles within the country genre – not so. Looks like they’ve recorded 1x song per category and chopped it up to create the variations. So taking Country as an example. they could have recorded one song, chopped it up for the “Straight 2/4” categories and variations. Another song or perhaps the same song played with a swing for the “Swing 3/4” and so on. The playing styles are not that interesting. There are a couple nice piano styles that are nice but you have to hunt for them all through your midi packs to put an interesting piano piece together if you don’t want it to sound like midi is being played. So nice product just very dishonest advertising imo because they make it sound like you will have plenty to play with and you don’t really and you have to keep shelling out for more midi packs so you can create interesting varied pianos or drums. The fact that there are no drum outros or endings is beyond belief! My advise is buy with caution and buy it cheaper on ebay – some do email transfers of a licence which you then register with Toontracks and download from their website. Buying full price from Toontracks would make their products a rip off I think.

First of all, sorry for my tone but I am annoyed at Toontracks. I’ve bought alot of stuff and find the offerings are stingy at best and now there’s no OUTROS. I feel this company is taking the mick! First thing I’ve noticed is you take pot luck when buying anything from Toontracks. You never know what you are going to get until you paid and registered. The samples they give are few and not enough, there is no info for each pack what you will be getting or what styles. The few demo videos show a fully loaded EZdrummer program, so when you install EZdrummer you realise you have nothing thats you can use, now you have to buy more packs. The packs you buy are also stingy with little to go on. This is wrong and misleading.

I’m new to home recording, midi and Toontracks. I can’t beleive what I’ve been reading in this thread! Looks like Scot is linked to Toontracks somehow? None the less, if a song needs a drum into it will usually need a drum outro. I’ve paid good money for EZdrummer, Percussion, Nashville, Americano and where are the OUTROS????

This is an old thread and there’s no OUTROS pack to buy so Toontracks obviously don’t see a need!

In the mean time, back in the real world where some of us bought EZdrummer as a drag n drop program, want drag n drop OUTROS! What do musicians do then to make an outros in their DAW please?

I’ve just bought Nashville and there are NONE! I can’t beleive Toontracks, who by the way are very stingy with how much they give you per pack – don’t include outros! It’s pretty basic need!!!!!!
