Well it seems to be working? I’ve managed to open up ezdrummer and I can select the groves etc I want and drag them over to my tracks. Can you tell me how I write my own drum patterns from scratch?

Okay It’s version 1.3.3. Okay, I’ve done exactly that, I’ve added the path and I can now see ezdrummer at the bottom of the Vst plugin list. Now I’ve selected instrument track and I have ezdrummer, the drum kit window has appeared! Finally getting somewhere. Still not been asked for any authorization code though? Is that me all set now?

The lower right hand corner when I open toontrack solo? There’s nothing there. The window pops up asking me to select which drummer to use, and after I click ezdrummer, the drum kit window appears and that’s it. The install location says c:program filesVst pluginsToontrack Is there a way in which I can locate ezdrummer in Cubase that I’m not seeing? Maybe if I was to find that and click that it would prompt me to authorize the code?

Ok, I didn’t think I should be concerned with toontrack solo. A friend of mine tried to install a copied version of ezdrummer before when I had Cubase 6 but it wouldn’t work. So I upgraded to Cubase elements 7 as recommended and ezdrummer still wouldn’t work. That’s when I decided to uninstall the copied version of ezdrummer and purchase the real copy from amazon. Can you tell me where to find the EZD number in solo? I’m not sure how to check the install location? Sorry, I’m pretty clueless about this kind of thing. Yes, I am using a 64-bit windows 7 machine and I’m using a 64-bit versionof Cubase.

Ok, but when I open Cubase I can’t find ezdrummer anywhere. When I first open Solo, a small window appears asking me to either ‘open project’ or select which drummer to use. EZDrummer is highlighted in the box. If I click on ezdrummer, the window disappears and the drum kit appears allowing me to click the drums and make sounds. If I click ‘open project’ it takes me to all my files…guessing, I’ve tried to open the Cubase one and the toontrack> ezdrummer one but theres nothing in the files. So again, I’m not being prompted for authorization. Any ideas? Should I even be concerned with toontrack solo if im trying to use ezdrummer through Cubase?
