    Spirit,

I have the UK POP EZX also.  The drums carry the song nicely.  Nice song!  I wasn’t sure where it was going next, so that made it more interesting.   🙂  Perhaps you could check out a thread I will soon post.

    Spirit,

Reminds me of Paul McCartney without vocals: a large compliment!  Very Nice!  Nice audio quality.

    Spirit,

The drums sound solid.  The organ sounds and riffs sound nice.  Guitar sounds nice: can’t decide if they sound double-tracked, or it’s all delay echos.  Pleasant song and recording!  Perhaps you could check out my latest in a thread I will soon create.

    Spirit,

Thank you for checking out both of my songs and for your comments, I appreciate it!  When I record the final mix of a song, I try to get very close to 0 dB.  It sometimes happens, I get a quick volume spike, and I have to lower the volume of everything so it never reaches 0 or more dB.  Many people would add more compression to limit the volume spikes, though sometimes even famous bands will have their mix highly compressed and it is a constant barrage of sound for me.  That’s not to say my mixes couldn’t be better.

I used EZ Bass on a couple of songs with the demo version.  I have owned Latin Percussion EZX for several years.  Everything about this song is pleasant.  Kind of reminds me instrumentally (includes synth vocals) of the band Blanc Mange (a compliment).  Nice job!  Perhaps you can check out a thread I will create in a few minutes.

    Spirit and Bear-Faced Cow,

Thank you for checking out both of my songs and reviewing them; I appreciate it!

    Bear-Faced Cow,

I still think your song “S.B./Cuz I Believe” rocks!  Have you made any new music lately?  I saw the Eagles play in concert a few months ago.  Your talk box guitar reminded me of Joe Walsh playing some solo material live at the same concert.  He still plays great!

Thank you for the reviews!  Now your song: my favorite part of the song was the drums; it made things sound a lot more alive.  The drums sounded very good!  This song, I feel, would be good for a movie where a main character is feeling stress, and then a car chase (or a foot chase) ensues.  Well done!

    Spirit,

Thank you for the reviews!  Now your song.  I have wanted to snorkel with whales for ages.  Closest to that I have been was the whale shark thing, and I have snorkeled with porpoise in a huge pen at the ocean; even rode on one!  I also came across several of them while snorkeling in Grand Turk, in the wild.  I have seen Humpback whales in Maui a number of times (while I was on land by the shore); even jumping out of the water and breaching.  Your song was really nicely done; an interesting combination of styles, including jazz, in my opinion.  Very nice melodies and audio quality.  🙂
