Surf and Rockabilly drums?  Sounds intriguing.  I can get fairly close to Phil Collins sort of drums with Superior Drummer 2 using gated reverb; but a Phil Collins drum thing still sounds intriguing; Phil would probably want to get paid for that.

Howdy!  Your song has an 80’s vibe, which is fine by me!  I detect some spiritual elements in the lyrics.  The vocals and the instrumental parts sound very good!  Nice song and recording!  🙂

OK, thank you for clarifying.  If a person has a bunch of songs, a person could spend the rest of their life trying to tweak & improve old songs.  I guess there is a happy medium in there somewhere.  Not the same thing as you, but when I upgraded from a 4-track cassette recorder to a Roland VS-880, I spent a lot of time rerecording dozens of songs until I could not stand it any longer.

Holy Cow, Bear-Faced Cow!  You work on 25 songs at once?  Or you are just adding bass to 25 older songs?  I typically only allow myself to work on one song at a time.  But I am currently juggling 2 songs.  About 90% done with one of them.

I’m never going to win in the Loudness War.  I’ve spent a bunch of time with compression lately trying to improve in that regard though compression/limiting can do things to the audio I don’t like, or easily makes it very fatiguing to listen to.  I can still use improvement though.  Thank you for listening & commenting!
