OK,
the current version is 1.3.0, so that’s definitely not right.
Could you please close EZkeys and the Product Manager, search your system for all ‘ezkeys.dll’ files and delete them? Then open the PM and run the 64-bit update again? What is the result?
BR,
John
Same result after deleting all ezkeys.dll files. Installing the 1.3 update “seems” successful, but then then in the installation info, it says I am still at 1.2.5
The core midi library is at 1.3
I ran both installers, but only the 64 bit installer continues to indicate it needs to be updated. The EZKeys standalone app works fine. The installation path where the .dll file resides is in the Program files/Common files directory. The Installation info says the current version is 1.2.5 for both the Dream Machine and the Small Upright Piano.
Thanks…
Trying to install the EZKeys Dream Machine and Small Upright piano updates 1.3 — the EZKeys player, not the Midi.
After I download and install the updates for Windows 7 or newer, I get a message that it was successfully installed, but in the details window of Product Manager, it says VST 64 bit not installed.
Thanks for your time!
Same problem as quoted below except its for EZKeys Dream Machine/Small Upright Piano and the 64 bit VST… Possible solution? Thanks!
“Hi!
Im on Windows 10, and the other day I installed SP3. Everything seems fine but not the Core Midi Pack!
The PM says I can install an update, så I initiate that, it unzippes files and start a install process, then I get e message saying install complete.
But, the PM still says there is updates to install, and no midi can be used in SP3.
Frustration here now, lost a day in production time
Hope you can help?”
Thanks John….
I thought ezdrummer 1 already came with the POP/Rock ezx? If that’s not the case, I guess I would need to purchase another ezx before installing ezdrummer 2…?
Scott,
I was using ezdrummer 1.3 demo with Sonar x3… when demo expired I started using loops(Beta Monkey)… certainly not as flexible for sure. Time will come when cash flow isn’t an issue and I can buy the full version.
Received this from customer support this morning.
“Sorry for the trouble. The forum links belong to the Superior 2.0 and EZdrummer registered users section so that is likely why you cannot access those forums (we only see Reggae Midi registered).”
I’m disappointed that I purchased and registered my Toontrack product, yet have been given only limited access to the forums.
Seems to me that would cut down on the number of issues that customer support would have to deal with, but then again, maybe the support team needs to justify their jobs…
Tech advisor John has been great in responding in a timely matter—maybe he has some influence going forward with this issue
Thanks for your efforts John. I contacted support help again in hopes that they can come up with a solution… What’s weird is that the support link you included earlier in the thread was accessible and worked when I clicked on it.
I would like to peruse the many threads that are available to registered members, so I hope this is resolved soon.
Thanks again, Jim.
About ready to give up… Tech support sent me an email letting me know that they got rid of my second account, so now I only have this one. After logging in, I tried to access the links and still got the same message. I tried IE, Firefox and Safari… no luck.
?????????
I found the email receipt for my Reggae beats purchase and it was registered under a different account. When I try to log in under the other account, I still get the same message( “Access denied – you do not have permission to view this page”)
How would I go about deleting the account that has no registered product? I think this may be the solution.
Thanks!
Ok, that makes sense… I did buy the Reggae midi package from a third party, but never registered it… I hope I have the “internet” receipt…
thanks for your help…
