A plastic cymbal is very noisy, though and you can dampen it with the bitumen tape trick.
Works very well for a real cymbal, so I think the same for a plastic one…
Well, my teacher gave me a 14″ plastic training cymbal, I just had to set a piezo under it and connect to my Yamaha brain with a 1/4″ mono jack – and presto, a single zone secondary crash! 🙂
Hi! I’m from Italy, here we can found quite easily what is labelled as “TV-4” in the page you posted. I used them in my 2 cymbals and 1 snare, and they work flawlessly.
