Harry thx for posting to this , as I expected to get a larger response! Getting that kick just right is tough to me! Ill be the first to admit it! These are freq cuts so Im wondering what I could to to get the kick to stand out a little more? If its just a volume thing well shit I got that! What do you feel was lacking more the THUD or just volume?

Agreed! But I think it should be included somewhere in EZX, dont you think? I dont wanna have to buy SDX just for Stick hits! LOL, I love you guys and Im the first to tell people that its EZX doing my drumming, but Stick hits are such a staple of rock music it should be included some where I can get to it! Maybe some day Ill get SDX, but I know EZX so damn good that I dont wanna switch to be honest ! Good thing I had a set of Pro Marks just in case of drummer fail and did the hits live, but I wont tell, your secret is safe with me hahaha!

Ok so I have been messin around with some new pieces where Im doubling guitars and even Quading tracks, some with just a difference in pick ups and some with total reamping and effects and its sounds awesome.
remember that a recorded guitar part played alone doesn’t tell the hole truth and it probably will no sound as good as when it’s mixed
I dont know how I feel about this… lol all of my tunes have had 1 rythm and 1 lead track and they kick ass. I do agree however, that if I had multitracked guitar parts it would have push the music more forward.

LOl you calling me lazy bro??? Effort isnt the issue, Im just curious that on some stuff is it or is it not actually quad tracking or maybe dual tracking and cloning. It seems to me people have some of their own variations on this. More input pls

Im using Sonar X1c with EZdrummer 64bit. I wish I had the $$$ for S2, but I stuck with EZD all the way and own most of kits made for it!
Im well versed using it, so no regrets!
The drum kit is metal machine with a few eq tweeks I posted over in the studio corner forum here.
I really love the way the kit sounds even for rock tunes!
I kinda solved my problem of wanting another track for the toms, I dont really need the reverb channel so it was easy to steal a trk for the
lower and floor tom to get them to really punch out! Thanks for listening and posting!

if you quad track your rythm guitars so basically 2 tracks hard left and 2 tracks hard right, you get a massive tone. Just make sure you can play to a click track and that all 4 tracks are played exactly the same and on time.
My question about this is simple is it ok to just clone the first guitar take, or is it a must to actually record 4 tracks of the same thing with actual playing? Can you say use a quick delay and cab effects to create the desired sound?

consider external sound devices. They are pretty cheap and like with my Presonus audiobox USB its away from my PC which helps with static and hum!

why stop there I wish i had the same thing for EZD as well!
