    Martin,
Thank you for confirming that EZ Drummer can be used as a stand-alone program, that’s exactly what I was hoping. If I understand the MIDI capabilities of EZ Drummer correctly, it can import MIDI fine, but in order to export MIDI, I would use EZ Drummer as a plug-in to a host program, correct (like Sonar, etc.)?
I think the workaround for a .WAV output (if using EZ Drummer as a stand-alone program) is to just record the sounds created by EZ Drummer directly off of the computer. It won’t be the best quality, but would only be used as a back-up solution anyway. A .WAV export function would be a great feature to consider for future editions of EZ Drummer, for all of those on a limited budget and can’t afford a host program.
Thank you for clearing up my confusion on the purpose of Solo. Since we would be operating without a drummer, we wouldn’t need to use Solo (in our particular case). But it is good to know that we could extract all of the drum sounds from EZ Drummer if using an eDrum kit and using Solo as the interface.
It sounds like EZ Player Pro might be a good solution for keeping track of our complete library of MIDI drum tracks. Then we could list all of our songs in EZ Player Pro, select the song, then use EZ Drummer to create the sounds live. Does this sound like I have the correct understanding?
