I’ve managed to program tracks as midi patches in Reaper. Works in windows. You can try it to see if it works for you. You’ll want to have a computer with a screen, mouse and keyboard close by.
Note: If you’re trying to play live without a drummer or other instruments, and doing this as full songs, you’ll need a computer with a lot of memory (16gigs or more), and a minimum of an i7 processor. You may still have to only load have your set, then load the other half in the middle to avoid glitches.

**It’s completely nuts that there isn’t a direct way to use a midi floorboard with ezmix.

Yes, I believe they are. (not mine) Just some videos I found on youtube when I was first considering purchasing EZD and what packs I wanted to get.

“Metal Machine” has my favorite kit. Tama Bubbinga, Dry. Pronounced cymbals and more refined. The rides are really nice as well, though you only get 2. (bright pingy or soft more muted) Zero complaints with the kit. “Metal” has a poppy-ier kit in my opinion. (not a drummer lol) That just doesn’t have the depth for me, but may be more suited to what you’re doing.

Either way you really can’t go wrong.
Hope that helps a bit.

Ok, Thanks Buddy. I believe that my packs work with SD. (already checked previously, which is a plus) I’ll definitely consider the cross-grade. Again, much appreciated.

Been thinking about upgrading EZD2 to SD. Is this the way to go? There is like zero information of how these 2 work together online. If anyone knows of some videos on youtube or something please post the link. (and I’m not just talking about a “how to use SD” vid, I mean something where these 2 applications are being used together) THANKS!

I have Metal and Metal Machine, and all the drum riffs are great, but they are All also fast and complex. I have a hard time with them when I’m looking for something slower and more simple. You might be better off with a “Rock” pack.

PT11 can’t even find full version plugins. You have my condolences.

If you’re using protools that’s probably the problem. Simply put, pt10 and 11 are completely squirrelly when it comes to finding plugins. Try re-installing your daw until it sees your plugins. Also doing any kind of disk cleanup on your hard drive using the above mentioned daw is going to give you issues as well. Especially when saving sessions. Like your plugins not working, or being able to add new tracks with plugins that it sees already.

I had the same issue. It was a computer hardware issue for me. If your not running 3ghz processor and 8 gigs of ram I think you’ll always have issues.

I did create an account.
I was logged in.
Granted guitar center has their issues, but you act as if toontracks website was real helpful in the process. too funny…
Answer = “Register a Product”, or you can wait 24hrs for toontrack to maybe answer an email, or better yet come to their forums to get insulted. Why not “Simply” update GC? Why not “Simply” put a “Visible” link on your home page. Or is that just too “Simple?”

What download manager? That reply is no help.

What? I’m still looking for that “Get Started” button. This website is gay.
