Hello,
I have been using EZDrummer for about a month, and I have bought the drumkit from hell and the nashville kit…….I have a M-Audio project Mix has my auidio and midi interface and I’m running my studio with Logic Pro……
I decided to buy an eDrum to complete my studio, so I bought the Yamaha DTXPress IV………I’m starting to worked with Midi, so my knowledge is very little………
My drume set comes with a Midi output……I connect that to the Midi in in my project Mix and then when i open Toontrack solo I can control zdrummer with my edrums…..the only thing is that when I hit on a pad to fast It only would make a sound of the first hit and then after 3 seg it would make another sound………If I wanted to hear all my hits I would have to hit the pads with 3 seg gaps…….
All the pads of the drum kit are playing the right notes……but the hihat is all screw up……when I press the pedal and play on the hihat it will sound has a closed hihat, but if you hit the edge it will sound like a kick………same has when you have the open hihat……..
If I chance the notes on the module I can scan around all the sounds of ezdrummer for that particular pad, but it allways comes back to the original note……..
The other problem I have, is that after connecting the module to the midi, now the hihat wont worked right unless it is connected to the midi………..If I play my edrum connected to an amp the hihat wont make a sound…..If I live the amp plug in and connect the midi at the same time, I can hear the hihat working fine from the amp, but making the kick sound out of my studio monitors thru EzDrummer and playing only the first note of a fast drumroll…..
I’m pretty stuck right now and don’t know where to ask…….
Thanks in advance,
