Howdy Folks!
Been away from the forums for a bit because we’ve been busy recording our EP as a full-fledged band finally, but since a lot of issues have come up recording vocals (family, work, yadda yadda), we thought we would post up a full instrumental of “The Sky And The Fall” using our new mix, new tone, new tuning and some kick ass drumming instead of just a sneak peek like we’ve been doing so we can appease the peeps wanting more more more. Vocals are being tracked again finally so we should be releasing the EP very soon! We’ll also be getting an Axe FX Ultra on the 15th so get ready for even better sounding mixes! This is definitely my best mix so hope you guys dig it!
We recorded this instrumental with a Schecter C7 Hellraiser with Seymour Duncan Blackouts tuned to drop A using TSE X30 in conjunction with Line 6 Pod Farm 2 and Recabinet’s awesome impulses. The bass was a Schecter Custom Stiletto 5-string using Pod Farm 2 and the drums are of course Superior Drummer 2.0 with Metal Foundry. Input on the mix is always appreciated!
